<p>On our Secret Food Tour: Sydney, you'll eat around the delightful Oxford Street to the gorgeous local suburb of Surry Hills. See an area rich in churches, architecture, independent shops, and produce stores. Visible is evidence of post-war immigration; and culture from Greece, Italy, and Portugal.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>At the end of your tour, you'll have eaten some of Sydney's most delicious dishes and gained a better understanding of our culture and history.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Quality drinks will be served at some stops, however if you would like more, a thoughtfully curated <a href="/sydney/upgraded-drinks-package/">Upgraded Drinks Package</a> is available.</p>

What you'll taste

<p style="text-align:justify;">Surry Hills is an affluent area located close to the centre of Sydney. The suburb has experienced various waves of immigration, particularly from Greece, Portugal and Italy, which is reflected in the foods of the area, and offers some delicious flavors.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align:justify;">Being a wealthier suburb we also see various independent supermarkets and specialty stores. The main foodie street in the area has so many dining options, we have to point some out as we couldn't fit all of the stops in! This means, of course, the stops we have included offer great variety and exceptional quality. Surrounding streets in the area are leafy and green and the architecture creates a lovely vibe.</p><p><br>&nbsp;</p>
