What you'll do

SEE ITINERARY

Eisenbahn Pilsner

A cold pour of Eisenbahn, brewed in Blumenau, a city in southern Brazil built by German immigrants and still shaped by that heritage today. It's a true German-style pilsner, made under the Reinheitsgebot purity law, golden and clean with a soft bitterness that cuts through rich food. It's a different side of Brazilian beer than most visitors expect, rooted in immigration and brewing tradition rather than the beach.

Sakerita Azuma

Served at the Thai Chef stop, the Sakerita Azuma takes Brazil's own caipirinha and rebuilds it with sake in place of cachaça. The muddled lime and sugar stay, but sake pulls the drink softer and rounder where cachaça would hit sharp and grassy. It's a small collision of two drink traditions, one from São Paulo's streets and one from Japan, in a single glass.
