<div class="cardx-desc">On our Secret Food Tour: Strasbourg, you'll eat your way through the UNESCO-listed Grande Île, one hand-picked stop at a time. Taste a fresh bretzel, Alsatian charcuterie, pork shank with spaetzle, gingerbread, kougelhopf and a macaron, plus our Secret Dish.</div>

On our Strasbourg Food Tour, you'll eat your way through the UNESCO-listed Grande Île with a local guide. Tear into a fresh bretzel, taste Alsatian sausages with white wine, and finish with gingerbread, kougelhopf and a macaron.

Strasbourg's Grande Île is an island in more ways than one. Ringed by the River Ill, its half-timbered lanes, canals and cathedral square have fed the city for centuries, and the best way to understand it is one bite at a time, on foot.&nbsp;Over three and a half hours you'll visit six hand-picked local favourites. Tear into a fresh bretzel, taste Alsatian sausages with a glass of local white wine, and sit down to slow-cooked pork shank with spaetzle in a hall that pours one of the region's oldest family-brewed beers. There's gingerbread from a spice specialist, a slice of kougelhopf, a macaron to finish, and a secret dish we won't spoil here.&nbsp;Your guide is a Strasbourg local who knows the bakers, vendors and brewers by name. Between stops they'll tell the story of a city that has changed hands between France and Germany more than once, and show you how that history ended up on the plate.&nbsp; You'll leave full, a little wiser about Alsace, and with a list of places to come back to.

</div>&nbsp;There is something quietly magical about wandering through rue Montorgueil and the surrounding streets of central Paris. This is the belly of Paris — raw, vibrant, and wonderfully alive.&nbsp;Your culinary journey begins with a taste of a regional sweet brioche. Next, you'll visit a cheese store to discover "THE nothing can go wrong cheese," France's most popular cheese. As you explore the historic Les Halles and Montorgueil areas, we'll mark a stop for you to enjoy a glass of your favorite wine and a refined take on a bistro classic at a charming wine bar.&nbsp; We will take a "passage" in a district where all architectural styles sit side-by-side, heading towards our delightful secret destination. There, we will enjoy a grand classic: a sweet dish featuring a chocolate shell with a heart of crushed caramelized hazelnuts. With just one bite, Paris will feel entirely, unapologetically itself.&nbsp; The tour concludes in the very heart of the city, placing you within easy walking distance of iconic landmarks such as the Louvre, the Pont Neuf, and the Samaritaine department store.
