Why Group Activities in Denver Don't Need a Theme

A private food tour in Denver works whether or not the group has a name for itself: a reunion, a birthday, a handful of friends in town for the weekend, or coworkers looking for a reason to get together outside the office.

Plenty of group bookings don't come with a reason attached, and forcing one usually backfires: a theme nobody asked for, an activity built for half the group and boring to the rest.

A food tour skips the problem entirely. The group moves together, tastes the same dish at the same stop, and the conversation takes care of itself.

What Secret Food Tours Offers in Denver

A private, guided walking food tour through Denver, built around your group alone. A local guide leads the way between several food stops, each with a story behind it.

It ends with a secret dish we don't name in advance. Groups run from 2 to 200 and beyond, with extra guides added for larger bookings.

What Makes This a Good Group Activity in Denver

An activity your group doesn't expect, and still brings up weeks later. Here's what sets it apart:

  • The group moves through Denver instead of sitting at one table
  • No minimum headcount and no real maximum, since guides scale with the group
  • Private format: your group, your pace, your experience
  • Dietary needs handled before the day, whatever brought the group together
  • Works for 2 people or 200, with the same guide-led format either way

Whatever the occasion is, or isn't, let us show your group a different side of Denver.

Frequently asked questions

Does this need to be tied to a specific occasion?

+
No. Groups book this for birthdays, reunions, a visiting friend group, or simply because a group of people wanted to do something together in Denver.

Do you handle large groups?

+
Yes. Groups of 50, 100, or more get multiple guides so the experience holds up at any size.

What's the minimum group size?

+
There isn't one. Small groups and solo travelers book too.

How do we book and pay?

+
A 20% deposit holds your date for groups of 10 or more, and is non-refundable from the moment it's paid. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the event. Paying the full amount upfront instead earns a 5% discount. Smaller groups pay in full to confirm. We accept bank transfer, at no added fee, or PayPal, which may carry a fee.

What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

+
For groups under 10: your payment isn't refundable, but rescheduling to a new date or applying it as credit toward a future tour is an option. For groups of 10 or more: the 20% deposit is non-refundable as soon as it's paid, and the balance becomes non-refundable too once it's due, 2 weeks before the event. Either way, rescheduling or credit toward a new date stays available. There's no cash refund, but nothing goes to waste.

How far ahead do we need to book?

+
Request a date and we confirm availability, usually within 24 hours.

How much walking is involved?

+
Typically 1 to 1.5 miles. We adjust the distance for the group's needs.

Do you handle dietary restrictions?

+
Yes, tell us in advance and we work around them. Because we partner with independent restaurants rather than one kitchen, we don't guarantee zero cross-contamination risk for severe allergies.

Is this wheelchair accessible?

+
It depends on the city and route. Tell us in advance if anyone in the group has mobility needs, and we advise on what's possible.
