OLIVER MERNICK-LEVENE

OLIVER MERNICK-LEVENE

Hi! My name is Oli, and I am the co-founder of Secret Food Tours. Our aim with SFT has always been to give our guests the best, most authentic experience of a city as possible, allowing them to “feel and eat” like a local. I believe that the best way to show a culture is through its food and drinks – not just what local people eat, but how they eat; their habits, traditions and customs. My relationship with food goes back to my earliest days, and I love sharing and embracing new experiences with our guests. I truly feel that my co-founder Nico and I have the best job in the world! In addition to my work with Secret Food Tours, I have served as a judge for the World Boutique Hotel Awards for the past 7 years, and I love to check out new culinary experiences when traveling abroad. I am obsessed with Thai, Italian and Brazilian cuisine – the latter in particular, to the extent that I’ve learnt to speak Portuguese! Welcome once again to Secret Food Tours – I hope we can help you find the perfect culinary experience. Enjoy!
