Where the tour will end?
The tour ends at Restauradores Square, next to Rossio.
Is your food tour suitable for a vegetarian or someone with other dietary requirements?
Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary requirements when you book, and remind your guide at the start of the tour so we can adapt the menu. Vegetarians who eat eggs and dairy are very welcome, and many have joined us and loved it. Unfortunately, this tour is not suitable for vegans or for those who need a gluten-free diet. If you have any questions, email us at [email protected] before booking.
I am traveling with my family, is the tour ok for infants/children?
Children are more than welcome, and it’s free for children aged 2 and under! Strollers are fine on this route. We’ve had families from all over the world join us, and everyone has enjoyed it.
I don't drink alcohol. Can I book your tour?
Of course. Just let your guide know at the start of the tour and you can choose a non-alcoholic drink at each stop.
Is there enough food during your tour?
Yes! Come hungry. Trust us, you won’t need to go to a restaurant after the tour.
Where do I add my discount voucher?

The tour I want is fully booked. Is there a way I can still join?
Our tours often sell out quickly. If your date isn’t available, email us and we’ll see what we can do.
Is there a lot of walking?
There are around 1.5 hours of walking, broken up by plenty of stops. Lisbon is famous for its hills, but we know a few secrets to skip the steepest ones, so the route is easy going. The streets are cobbled, so comfortable shoes are a must, and your guide will always walk at the pace of the group.
How many people max are on this tour?
We take a maximum of 12 people. If you are a group of more than 12, email us and we’ll try to arrange something for you.
Do I need to print my confirmation?
No, a confirmation on your phone is perfectly fine.
If I purchase a voucher as a gift, or am given a voucher how long is it valid for?
All of our vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Where does your food come from?
We work with small shops and restaurants in Lisbon’s city centre. The food and drink we serve is top-quality, fresh and local!
What if it rains or I change my plans?
isbon’s weather can be unpredictable, but our tours run rain or shine, even with only 2 guests! As per our Terms and Conditions, we do not issue refunds. We do reserve the right to cancel a tour in case of extreme weather. For more information, see our Terms and Conditions.
Can I pay the tour in cash?
Bookings are made online through our website, and we don’t accept cash payments. Our online payment is safe and SSL protected.
Why do we need to pay for a booking fee?
he booking fee is set by our ticketing provider and covers the cost of the booking system. It applies to all bookings, and unfortunately we can’t change it.
Foreign Transaction Fees
A few banks charge customers an extra fee when booking with us (this is separate from the booking fee). We think this is unfair, so if it happens to you, send us your bank statement showing the charge and we’ll refund the fee as a gesture of goodwill.
Are the food tours wheelchair and/or stroller accessible?
Strollers are welcome on this tour, but because of Lisbon’s hills, cobblestones and some narrow venues, it isn’t wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us before booking.
What is the lowest price guarantee?
We always offer the lowest price on our Secret Food Tours. If you find one of our tours listed for less, contact us and we’ll match it.
