On our Secret Food Tour: Lisbon, you'll discover the amazing city centre and learn about its history, experience our unique food from Tascas (local taverns) where everything is freshly made.&nbsp;Enjoy dishes loved by the locals, such as Portuguese cheeses, traditional fishes, succulent pork sandwiches, and local desserts such as the famous Pastel de Nata, all wrapped with fine wines and local spirits. Plus the secret dish!&nbsp;At the end of your tour, you'll have sampled some of Lisbon's most delicious delicacies and gained a deeper knowledge of our culture and history.&nbsp;All the food will be served with quality drinks or if you prefer, non-alcoholic beverages. A thoughtfully curated <a href="/lisbon/upgraded-drinks-package/">Upgraded Drinks Package</a> is available.

To start, you'll taste a delicious Porto wine.

We'll dine on a pork sandwich, the perfect Lisbon street food.

Savour the flavour of handmade "petiscos" with a variety of different items: Sardines with Verde Wine, and a special sausage.

You'll sample Portuguese cheeses and Iberian ham.

Your sweet stop includes a traditional Portuguese pastry, "Pastel de Nata".

As with all our tours, there's our delicious Secret Dish.

What you'll taste

We chose the Mouraria district for our Lisbon food tours because of the area's authentic restaurant scene, historical culture and charming ambiance. Mouraria is still one of the most traditional neighborhood of Lisbon with its tascas (local taverns) doing fresh homemade food. In the past, Mouraria was once a ghetto of Moors and the Mouraria neighbourhood is known as the birthplace of Fado (a traditional Portuguese music style). In 1755, an infamous earthquake shook Lisbon. However, Mouraria survived this catastrophe and there are so many beautiful and still original tiles to be seen there. Come enjoy this food tour with amazing views over the city of Lisbon. &nbsp;
