How do I order?

Go to our "Book Now" page, where we detail our tours. Select your tour and book it! Are you looking for something special or organizing an event? You can email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to arrange something that suits your needs. After booking, we will send you an e-mail confirmation. What is included in the food tour?

All the splendid food and drinks which we will sample are included. You may, along the way shop for souvenirs.

Where is the meeting spot?

We will be meeting at 2500 Constance Street in the Irish Channel neighborhood. It's a large house with a wrap around awning and it's on the corner of Constance and 2nd Street. Your guide will be waiting for you, with a lovely orange umbrella, come rain or shine.

Where the tour will end?

New Orleans tour ends on Washington Ave, between Prytania St and Coliseum St.

Is your food tour suitable for a vegetarian or someone with other dietary requirements?

The New Orleans Food tour is most appropriate for those who eat everything. We will do our best for vegetarians, however gluten free is not possible. We do our best to make everything work for everyone involved.

I am travelling with my family, is the tour ok for infants/children?

Children are more than welcome to our tour and it's free for any child 2 years or under! We have had many families attend from all over the world and everyone enjoyed the tour.

I don't drink alcohol. Can I book your tour?

Absolutely, not a problem at all! Just inform our guide before the tour starts. Whenever alcohol is being poured, we'll have a non alcoholic beverage for you instead.

Is there enough food during your tour?

Yes! We do not go light on portions in New Orleans! You will not leave the Secret Food Tour immediately looking for a restaurant.

Can I get a discount?

If you are a group of 10 people, then you can email us. We will be more than happy to give you a discount.

I would like to take your tour but it is already fully booked. Is there a way I can do the tour?

Our tours are often sold out very quickly. If the date you requested is not available, please do not hesitate to email us and we can see if there is anything we can do. We cannot promise but we will try our best to sort something out for you.

Is there a lot of walking?

Indeed. There is plenty of walking with plenty of food stops and drinks and treats and everything but there is also walking. It's a 3 and a half hour tour which we have designed well but do wear your comfortable shoes. If you gotta walk a little slower, no worries, we'll walk with you!

I cannot find a way to print the confirmation. Is it OK if I have it on my phone?

You do not have to print your voucher. A confirmation on your phone will be fine!

How many people max are on this tour?

We take 12 people maximum. If you are more than 12 people, please do not hesitate to email us and will try to see if we can accommodate.

WHERE DOES YOUR FOOD COME FROM?

We work with small shops, bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. The food and drink we purchase is the best that we can find and as fresh and as local as possible!

What if it rains or I change my plans?

Unfortunately, the weather is unpredictable here in New Orleans. We do not issue refunds as per our terms and conditions. We also inform you that we never cancel a booking even if we have only 2 people! https://www.secretfoodtours.com/terms-and-conditions/

Can I pay the tour in cash?

You must book directly on our website. We do not accept cash payments. Our online payment is safe, secured and SSL protected.

Why do we need to pay for booking fee?

The booking fee that you have to pay is up to our ticket provider and we can't change it. All our clients need to pay for it upon booking. The booking fee charged contributes to the cost of the ticketing system to provide an excellent service to our customers.
