What is included in the food tour?
All the delicious food and drinks, but if you want more alcohol (and who doesn't?) We offer a upgraded drinks package that gives a Glass of excellent and award winning local homebrew beer, tax and tip included.
Where is the meeting spot?
We meet at the Boulangerie Guillaume, 5134 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal, QC H2T 1R8. It is a 10 minute walk from Metro Laurier, and is otherwise accessible by several bus routes (55, 51, 46). Upon surfacing from Metro Laurier, the road you'll encounter is a one way road, so walk AGAINST the direction of traffic of rue Laurier for 7-10 minutes to arrive at the destination. Where the tour will end?
The tour will finish inside of En Couleur Creperie on Ave Parc. The guide will give you suggestions or directions on where to go after.
Where I can park my car?
There is plenty of parking nearby, but it is paid. There is an app you can use while on the tour to add to the meter. The app is quite useful because there is a limit to the time you can pay for parking. Being able to charge up your parking meter while on tour is a convenience not to pass on.

IS THIS AREA SAFE?
It is a very safe area. People are always walking around, and it is reasonably touristy.
HOW ELSE SHOULD I BE PREPARED?
The Montreal climate is the epitome of 4 seasons. The general rule is to be over-prepared with multiple layers of clothing, so that if it turns out to be hotter than expected, you can simply remove/unbutton a layer. This truly applies year-round. What could initially look to be a cold, miserable, and damp day could easily turn into a very hot and humid one.
If you are coming to Montreal during the winter, it cannot be emphasized enough that you should come VERY well prepared for the weather. The tour can be done in just about any weather, but the cold can be merciless for the unprepared. Warm winter boots, multiple socks, shirt/sweater/jacket, and a good winter hat should be part of any winter tourist's closet when visiting.
IS YOUR FOOD TOUR SUITABLE FOR A VEGETARIAN OR SOMEONE WITH OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Please let us know when you are booking the tour and we will do our very best to accommodate all dietary restrictions so that you can fully enjoy the tour as well. You can always tell our guide of any food allergies or special dietary requirements at the start of the tour as well. If you have any doubts or concerns, feel free to email us at [email protected] before booking. We have had many vegetarians doing the tour with us and they all enjoyed it thoroughly.
I am travelling with my family, is the tour ok for infants/children?
Children are quite welcome and it's free for any child 2 years or under. We can give them drinks other than alcoholic and you are free to enjoy the tour with your entire family of all ages.
I don't drink alcohol. Can I book your tour?
This is not a problem. Just book the alcohol free option before the tour. Just inform our guide before the tour starts.
Is there enough food during your tour?
Think of the tour as a tasting menu. As we travel you get many delicious treats that comprise a meal with dessert. But there is a lot of food, you will not be hungry after the tour.
Can I get a discount?
If you are a group of 10 people, then you can email us. We will be more than happy to give you a discount.
Where do I add my discount voucher?
I would like to take your tour but it is already fully booked. Is there a way I can do the tour?
Our tours are often sold out very quickly. If the date you requested is not available, please do not hesitate to email us and we can see if there is anything we can do. We cannot promise but we will try our best to sort something out for you.
Is there a lot of walking?
To join our food tour, you must wear comfortable shoes. There will be around 35 mins of walking but it is not too difficult and is broken up between food stops. During the duration of the tour we will walk just over one kilometer. The guide walks at the pace of the tour members, you will never be rushed.
I cannot find a way to print the confirmation. Is it OK if I have it on my phone?
You do not have to print your voucher. A confirmation on your phone will be fine!
If I purchase a voucher as a gift, or am given a voucher how long is it valid for?
All of our vouchers expire one year from the date of purchase.
How many people max are on this tour?
We take 10 people maximum. If you are more than 10 people, please do not hesitate to email us and we will try to see if we can accommodate.
What if it rains or I change my plans?
Unfortunately, the weather is unpredictable here in Montreal. We do not issue refunds as per our terms and conditions. We also inform you that we never cancel a booking even if we have only 2 people! Can I pay the tour in cash?
You must book directly on our website. We do not accept cash payments. Our online payment is safe, secured and SSL protected.
Why do we need to pay for booking fee?
The booking fee that you have to pay is up to our ticket provider and we can't change it. All our clients need to pay for it upon booking. The booking fee charged contributes to the cost of the ticketing system to provide an excellent service to our customers.
Foreign Transaction Fees
A few banks have charged their customer an extra fee while booking with us (this isn't the booking fee but another fee added by the bank). We think this is unfair, if this happens let us know by showing us in your bank statement and we will refund this fee as a gesture of good will.
