His verse gives the name to this particular place, in Triana, Seville, called &#8220;Las Golondrinas&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>(Non-poetic translation: The Swallows \u2013 The dark swallows will return, to your balcony to build their nests. And again with their wings on your windows, they will call, playing) .<\/p>\n<p>Situated on Antillano Campos\u2019s street, this eaterie was established in 1962.<br \/>It is well known to the Trianeros (that\u2019s the folk who live on the west bank of the Guadalquivir and regard themselves somewhat separate from the other side of the river) for its particular narrowness, and, hence, it is not very close to the heart of the city&#8217;s taxi drivers!<\/p>\n<p>Las Golondrinas is surrounded by old ceramic shops, where the potters of the area exercised their profession giving free rein to their creativity.<\/p>\n<p>Just like that,Triana became the reference area for the acquisition of tiles, sculptures, vases, plates &#8230; Even today there are shops in this area around calle Alfarer\u00eda, which runs at right angles to Las Golondrinas.<\/p>\n<p>This historical fact is one of the main characteristics that make Las Golondrinas a special place. You only need to cross its door to observe its walls decorated with tiles, plates, poems &#8230; All made with ceramics, accompanied by ancient objects distributed throughout the whole place.<\/p>\n<p>It has a second floor, not excessively large, but with equally special furniture that does not clash with the decoration of the place.<\/p>\n<p>These are small wooden tables, accompanied by Enea chairs in the purest style of the tents of the April Fair of Seville. Just across the narrow street, they have a cosy lounge.<\/p>\n<p>You may hear loud blows from the kitchen, similar to &#8220;hammering.&#8221; Don&#8217;t worry, they will be preparing their tasty punta de solomillo ( a pork dish).<\/p>\n<p>If you see tiny mushrooms appear in a small boat-shaped dish, they are their delicious grilled mushrooms with aioli sauce.<\/p>\n<p>You will also need to try their caballito de jam\u00f3n (ham) or squid. And for \u00abgreen \u00bb lovers they also have homemade dressings, served in abundance.<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at their wide variety of local wines that will pair perfectly to any of their tapas. A couple of tapas and two beers in this place wouldn\u00b4t cost more than 7\u20ac or 8\u20ac.
